All complete meals must have a partner in crime. So what can be better than having a simple spinach side dish? Spinach is a nutrient powerhouse that is low in calories and high in vitamins, such as vitamin A and vitamin K. Spinach is best available during winter months. When visiting the food market, buy fresh leaves that have a dark-green color and crispness. Avoid the bunches that have dull/limp leaves, yellow discoloration, or holes.
